That show was the Iron Maiden concert , had an outstanding debt with the group for some time, and I missed two of the above recitals, the first, because it was outside of Santiago, and last year, for the same reason, despite a fruitless efforts to get tickets (thanks Foix anyway) ...
So now, thanks to the kind sponsorship of Paula, went to see Maiden in one of the best concerts I've been pleased to see.
Luck was on my side, and that although not arrived early, parked safely at O'Higgins Park , and then I found zorrona ... If! Vitoko Himself! Vitoko more friends turned out to be quite nice ... We are LOCATED in a very central position ... We
when the Harris girl show had already started, otherwise nothing special, the audience nevertheless performed well ( seems that it is past the age of bottles and spitting blunders), then near the 20 : 00, with a punctuality "British " began the deployment of " Beast" ... what better than Aces High!
I must confess that I jumped and screamed like a monkey teenager ... was not alone, it is estimated nearly 60,000 in attendance yesterday apes ... This was the concert he wanted to see for some time (and not shit Dance of Death for some years), this is the "real " ... what better than a classical repertoire to delight for years until a few goats apes bald guys who endured, stoic, the wait and the noise.
Somewhere Back in Time has good staging, see, U2 and Madonna is amazing (I mean technology), although there were fireworks and EDDIE! work in sets and the use of screens leave much to be desired ... cloth painted backgrounds, some well good to be lost by poor lighting at times, the other, 5 giant screens and all giving the same, losing, unless I had a good view, jumps and games with guitars and under the rest of the band, since 90% of the time focused on Dickinson.
The arrival of the band is good, because the public is unconditional, yet it was funny to hear Bruce's comments about " are awesome" and " is the biggest show in history " such as said zorrona was like "I bet says same everywhere," yet there is a bit of local pride that makes you feel good when (probably ) lied that way .. .
60,000 people is a pretty big number, but no entry was an example of civility, the output was quite peaceful and expeditious ... it took me 15 min. to emerge from my privileged position on my bike, considering that it was a couple of blocks.
The amplification was excellent, was heard very well and came out with the damn whistle in my ears, as well as the duration, however brief, was adequate and when it began and ended early, considering that today, unfortunately had to work.
A great concert, a better company ... better. Grande
