NovaMind has been a good Mind Mapping program or mental maps and we had already reviewed the earlier version of this software.
version four, as mentioned has some obvious improvements. Worth mentioning the contextual panel. These panels give the user the opportunity to choose the type of category, the style you want to, pictures to add, the background color, etc.. One of the usability problems that had NovaMind since its first versions is that it was difficult to know where to look for options for example to insert an arrow, modify, color, etc. Now this option appears when the arrow is selected que se agrega ahora más fácilmente. Lo mismo puede decirse si se trata de agregar o modificar el estilo de una categoría, un tema o un subtema. NovaMind presenta ahora una especie de síntesis de XMind y de MindManager , claro, aunadas sus propias características.
El incorporar diferentes versiones con más funciones creo que puede resultar en una opción que termina pagando más alto el consumidor. El usuario que tenga la versión tres con todas las opciones, si quiere un upgrade a la versión cuatro pro, terminará perdiendo funciones y pagando un precio más alto por el upgrade.
Son bienvenidas las plantillas que ahora incorpora, como también son bienvenidos styles. Perhaps in time Nova-Mind will add options in these templates.
Often when making a mental map ever want to do a free draw, so it is strange some basic option for drawing.
The program is pretty good for mental maps and is recommended but probably need to adjust some things to hopefully happen in version 4.1.
